Fellowships, Scholarships, and Graduate Funding Opportunities for Psychology Doctoral Students
Tuition and Financial Assistance
Insofar as resources are available, doctoral students are awarded some form of financial assistance and a tuition scholarship. Since each student is considered for all these awards, no separate application is necessary.
Teaching and research assistantships provide a stipend and a tuition scholarship. Students typically work 20 hours per week in these positions. In the case of teaching assistants, these 20 hours are divided between TA duties and work in one's advisor's laboratory. Several faculty members have research grants that provide stipends for research assistants of their choosing.
