Clinical Services
Assessment and treatment at the PSC is guided by the latest research advances in effective psychological interventions. Both day and evening appointments are available.
PSC services are available to anyone in the entire Western New York and Southern Ontario region. Services are NOT limited to people associated with the University at Buffalo.
Types of Problems Treated
Commonly addressed concerns include depression, anxiety/panic, relationship difficulties, anger management, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, stress management, conflict resolution, and self-esteem enhancement. We do not offer treatment for severe alcoholism or substance dependence, severe eating disorders, or unmedicated bipolar disorder or any psychotic disorders. Psychological Testing/Assessment
The PSC offers reduced rates for psychological testing and assessments administered by our graduate student staff. All assessments are supervised by a Ph.D.-level psychologist. The fee for a psychological assessment is $300.
